XOS2: Its the real life Iron Man

Or, better placed, War Machine... Raytheon develops a powered exoskeleton module equipped with a combination of sensors, actuators and controllers. Most recently the latest (second) generation of exoskeletons has been unveiled. We present to you, XOS2

If you belong to the generation before the 90's or 80's, you are familiar with the comic-book or cartoon concept of The Iron Man, and if not, then you surely know the two cinematic adaptions Iron Man and Iron Man 2.

What Rautheon actually gives us is not the flying, arsenal of military weapons, but rather a logistics oriented suit that gives the wearer the "superpower" and the "superstamina" to endure lifting heavy ammo cartridges, missiles and stuff. Nonetheless this technology is there and we can see a man using the suit with enough dexterity to catch a ball, do push-ups, go up stairs and even walk on the robotic heels.
