The Anticythera Mechanism

The Anticythera Mechanism is considered the oldest computer.Constructed in Greece during a time now estimated between 150 and 100 BC, it was discovered in 1901 near Anticythera from where it got it's name, but it's use remained in the dark for over a century. Although it's precise mechanism is still a mystery, it's purpose was found to be, calculating astronomical positions. And it did so with outstanding presision
